Imagine starting your day with breathtaking views of London and the most amazing selection of delectable delights.

That’s how my day started. Breakfast at Ting claims to be the Ultimate Breakfast experience – priced at £34 it includes an all you can eat buffet with traditional breakfast dishes as well as some Asian specialities.

The restaurant is spacious featuring a lounge area for relaxed dining or more formal tables – as you can imagine being on level 35 of the Shangri La Hotel London the views of London are spectacular.

The buffet featured a huge variety of food to choose from including fresh fruit, locally sourced smoothies, Bermondsey honey, pastries, breads, cakes, as well as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, dumplings and so much more with the offer to cater for any allergies or dietary requirements by cooking something to order in the kitchen.

At first I was overwhelmed by the selection on offer and went back to the table to order a coffee to enjoy whilst trying to make up my mind. Cristian the restaurant supervisor discussed the menu with us and made suggestions and brought me the most delicious scrambled egg on smashed avocado toast – not only was this well presented but also melted in the mouth.

It would be rude not to revisit the buffet so I went back to enjoy some fresh fruit and try the locally sourced honey which tantalised the tastebuds with flavour and texture.

Service was second to none with Cristian attending to our every need, refreshing drinks, pointing out places of interest and chatting through the menu.

Thank you to the staff at Ting for making our visit so special and leaving us wanting to plan further visits.
